A set of instructions on how to use the Radioactive Decay Simulator follow the steps below. A green light above a button indicates that the option has been chosen.
1. Either choose the type of atom that is going to be simulated from one of the three preset options, or click on the Custom button and enter a custom half-life in the text fields provided.

2. Type in the number of atoms that are to be simulated. The app supports between 10 and 10,000 atoms to be simulated.
3. Choose the graph type. Either the number of atoms that have been decayed, or the number of undecayed (remaining) atoms can be displayed. This option can be changed whilst the simulation is being conducted.
4. Press the play button to begin the simulation. The forwards and backwards buttons allows the user to speed up and slow down the simulation. The simulation can stopped by pressing the stop button and then restarted using the play button. To set the simulation, press the reset button.
